Hello!
My name is Magenta and these posts will be the stories of my journey, my travels, …from sea to land, from water to pulp, model to molder… from a fleshy bottom dweller to my rise to pearl status. You’ll hear of my work, how I am most colorful when sharing my life with my co-workers, and how landing in the print production and manufacturing business at Oyster Production Company has kept me afloat.
For now, just so we can get to know one another better, let me tell you a few things about me. I’m very photogenic and love having my picture taken, you might say the camera loves me right back! Being from the Texas Gulf Coast you understand, the bigger the image the better the brand! At the Studio, we use this track- once you go big, its hard to go back. Tex-mex is my favorite cuisine and cold beer and live music make me happy... which probably makes me different than your average “farm-raised” oyster. You can find me most days at the studio, although sometimes I’m just out shuckin’ around.
While we’re chatting, I would like introduce you to my family of co-workers. We tend to get involved with most every project and from concept to completion, we’ll be all over the place. Cyan (who IS average and farm-raised), Mellow-Yellow (who comes from Colorado), and Vader (who got scooped up in New Orleans and landed in Austin) they’re always here to help me out. We mix it up now and then and the world gets a bit more colorful when we do.
Gotta scoot, its time for me to get back to work but remember, I’ll be sharing stories of design, print, manufacturing, etc. through this and various other social media sites. I’ll even give a product plug now and again. Oh, and I forgot to mention, all of the employees at Oyster Production Company travel for both professional and personal reasons, and check this out, one of the perks of my job allows me to travel along! So, be sure and stop back by, and be sure to share my stories and photos with your friends colleagues.
Peace out.
Magenta
